Windows Converting my key to steam

I purchased 7 Days to Die via paypal before Steam was available and was wondering if there's a way to convert the key that I received to one that works on Steam.

You can't anymore. Yes, I got a keycode via email that worked during the alpha

hmm. you would think that the same keycode should still work then. If not, then you might have to just buy the game again.
