Converting a Base to a Prefab?

I've been experimenting with various designs and am hoping there is a way to convert a base not created in the prefab editor into a prefab?

TIA

There is at least one YouTube video showing how to do that.  It is an old video from an earlier alpha, but it still works the same.  I don't have a link handy, but search "7 Days to Die save base as prefab" and you will likely find it.  If not, let me know and I'll try to remember to look it up when I am home (or someone else can).

OK, I play exclusively on my dedicated server. So I saved my prefab on the server. The files are there. So far, so good. Now I want to access the prefab from the prefab editor on client. How do I do that?

Expect there to be more than export/import. You are likely using player blocks in your POI and many of those have to change. Players usually have too many lights on as well. I don't know if the video covers those kinds of details.

Late last night I figured out that the dedi game-save can be accessed via the prefab editor in the stand-alone 7DTD client. I was able to place my prefab, replace the wiring and make other fixes, then switch back to the normal dedicated server mode. Cool!

Maybe I don't understand your goal, but wiring doesn't work in Prefab POIs. Electricity is a Player-Only thing.
