Controller Not Working, Just The Mouse Is

I have been through the controller connection issues online n what to do. I Have activated through 7 days to die settings for my controller, says it should work great with my controller. Yet....only the mouse is working when I load up the game.

 
Why can you not download a pic from your phone to here? I dont see an option. Only URL, I have no clue how to do that.

Pics will save a lot of confusion on someone helping me with this.

Most people wouldn't be using their phone to take screenshots of data on their computer.

A log would be more useful. Instructions are Pinned in this forum section, and you should have read them before initiating a post.




 
SYLENTHUNDER: I am NOT computer savvy. I am ignorant to how all this works. 

You will have to excuse me for not understanding the computer talk. I have no idea what that means. Nor how to follow along. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I did read other posts about the controller. Didn't see anything in regards on "How to properly put a question on the forum". So my apologies.

I use my pc for gaming only, my phone for most everything, except gaming.

I personally don't have the patience to spend, who knows how long, flipping through the do's n don'ts. 

Had I known there was way more then simply putting a question on the forum, in search of help, then I would of never even opened an account to ask other players of 7 Days To Die on how to get my controller to work, after turning it on in steam settings n 7 days to die settings, n it still not working.
