I was able to play this game before v.2.0, but now the menu screen is locked behind a discord log in. It gets stuck trying to log in unless you go through multiple steps trying to log in with your phone. The QR code doesn’t work. I did this once, then tried to leave the game, but it tries to log you in again just to get to the main menu, even if you are already in the game. I can’t even play single player without a discord log in. I shouldn’t have to use Discord to play, and I have to go through endless log in and enter code steps just to access the main menu. I don’t know if this is a bug, or some deal made with Discord to bump up numbers. Either way, it’s terrible. I’ve paid for this game three times on multiple platforms. Locking the game behind another platform’s login seems shady to me.
