Connection Timed Out/NetSteamNetworkingSessionError_ClosedByPeer on consoles

It started yesterday for us. Also in the US east coast

 
We have been playing seemlessly until we tried last night. Now we keep juat getting this error below.

Canada East Coast

NY here with my bf in Canada and other friends in PA and CO... we're on day 329 on our save game... we're all on PS5

Yeah that’s the same error I’ve been getting that and “connected timed out” or something like that

 
My wife and I are in the same house and it’s not working. 
 

anyone know if it’s working on lan? I’m curious to know if I can run that wiring option but I don’t feel like changing wires if I don’t have to lol

Location: New York,
Platform: Xbox Series S
Timeframe: Problem started around 5PM EST Sept 23rd 2024- Persistent issue to current time of 9:24PM EST Sept 24th 2024
Error: Connection to server failed - Connection timed out
Findings: The issue occurs when trying to resolve connection to a peer and fails the check before reaching the Epic server check

possible relation to the false High ping of absurdity bug which claims a person joining a peer has 20k-2mil ping causing desync of 30-45 minutes in executed tasks to actual execution.

Bought this game for my gf last night to co op only to find out multiplayer broke, sigh

We’re northeast US 

 
Same problem for me aswell. Day 2 can't join any multiplayer session.

East Coast Canada, playing with a guy in the western USA. All getting the same error on PS5, regardless of who is hosting.

 
Hey everyone. I'm experiencing this issue as well with my friends. We are 3 console players, all on Xbox Series X. I am the server host and usually use the NA West Server option. My girlfriend is able to connect without issue (we are both hard wired to the same router), but our friend keeps encountering this error when trying to join. He is located in Ontario, Canada and has had no connection issues prior. It started happening yesterday 9/23/24.

We have both our Xboxs hardwired, so it's not a wireless/wifi issue.

 
Same issue here.

I am in South Carolina and i am able to connect to other servers  but my friend in upstate New York can no longer connect to me or I can not connect to him we are in day 220 with no issues until yesterday. Also he can not join any other server.. I hope they fix this soon.... also we are on xbox series x
