I am working on a mod and wanted to know what the model was based on.
PC Confirm - what model is the 9mm sidearm based on?

Could be this one. Most likely it came from the Unity Asset Store, so you can just browse around until you find the perfect match. I just grabbed that one at a glance.
Edit: I'm thinking it's most likely going to be based on a 1911A1, though my second guess is definitely a Beretta 92.

Well, looking at google images, I think it depends on the version of pistol you're looking at cuz the devs apparently changed it a few times over the years.
But based on this image:
I think it closely matches the Beretta 92FS model:
But due to copyright nonsense, I imagine there's enough subtle differences that you'll likely never get a perfect match.
Here's some other images of other versions of pistols... not sure what those are though... probably still in the same family of firearms though (Beretta or 1911), it's definitely not CZ.
