COMPOPACK PREFABS VOTING 2020

Hi folks

I started this thread to get your opinion about your MOST FAVORITE and also MOST WORST prefabs from the COMPOPACK

goal is to weed out the prefabs that most of the people dont like.

And also get a clue of what you people do like to see.

It would be nice if you could tell me lets say the 5 best and 5 worst prefabs from COMPOPACK

(dont mind if the numbers are higher or lower than 5 - its just to get a little overview)

this vote belongs to all the prefabs that are available atm (xcostum and also xvanilla)

with that Iam gonna start with my list of the best and worst prefabs

most best:

xcostum_Plant(by_Wsiegel) (outdated and also kinda strange)

xcostum_Prison1(by_Curbolt) (outdated / boring)

xcostum_shootingrange(by_magoli) (wierd somehow)

xcostum_SuperStore(by_Volar) (outdated - need complete store-overhaul)

xcostum_WulftownCD(by_WereWulfen) (outdated - just a duplicate POI of wulftownA and ManorMansion)

xcostum_PeerCafe(by_Stallionsden) (wierd architecture and painting - also kinda outdated)

there is a bunch of more prefabs I do and/or  dont like for several reasons

(some of them are to small or to big - some of them has wierd architecture or painting - some of them has to much or to less Loot - some of them are just to difficult or to boring - and so on)

 but so what - these are my lists - NOW ITS YOUR TURN FOLKS

these are very nice

xcostum_SlumsA(by_pikero)/xcostum_SlumsB(by_pikero) has to be merged to 1 single prefab to handle it in rwg (else the 2 parts spawn away from each other)

but the problem on that is the size of the prefab - Its just to big - it is simply not spawning in the world - thats the problem

I hope there will be a way to let it spawn somewhen in the future because it is indeed a very very good Prefab

atm I see no chance to let it appear in the world - even if its added manually after worldgeneration

 
 
Honestly All of em should stay.

Some have been in the cp since the begining and for memory. Yes can get to updating them over time but yeh.

The big prefabs do spawn BTW mags, My hotel is bigger then the slums and it spawns :-D....

Esp with Nitrogen there is no limit to size (Nearly)

But yeh leave ll the prefabs in there. If we have to update them so be it but yeh memories man lol. 🙂

If this is true I really see a good chance to let the slums come back to CP

Only problem is now to merge Slums-part-A and Slums-part-B together to be One file

Also maybe a block-convertion from A18 to A19 is needed

But atm I have really no time for that - maybe after Iam finished with all the works on my todolist

Iam also used to all the prefabs tbh - yes we got a lot of memories on them - but some of them really needs a very nasty update to fit into the current state of art of the game or just have to go IMO !!!

Maybe ya'll should just list your top 10 or so. That way we keep the posts positive! I am very grateful for this though. It will help me to create a prefablist of everyone's faves.

Hey lol peercafe was the architecturally artistic building of that era lol. Its heritage listed lol 😥😥

there are horrible outdated houses etc in the real world as well lol. Alot that need renovating etc lol. But they stay like that for years.  Lol.

Just saying having the bad ones in there isnt a bad thing its resembles parts of the poorer places to in real life.

alpha 16-17 was the worst for community pois, not just the block conversions that had to happen, the paint ID changes were brutal. especially the textures that were "new" that replaced old textures. it was blackscreen tv, metal cabinets, and closets everywhere. that's what made a lot of pois look so shabby.
17-18 was mainly block conversions, 18-19 was pretty tame, in comparison. it's more block additions that happened this time.

all the "empty" versions of blocks they've added are fantastic for filling areas with eye candy, without having to turn places into loot pinatas just for them to look good.

and people that think "man, i wish i could build a poi, but can't", should think about some of your old favorites in compo that could just use a fresh eye to decorate them. decorating is MUCH easier than building and very fun and relaxing if you're not poor magoli with hundreds to think of at once. if even 10 people re-decorated 1 poi each, it's a huge boon for everyone, imo.

And in addition to that sadly the ingame-editor doesnt work well (tbh the truth is the editor is NOT ready to work with atm related to 2 MainIssues(bugs) (WATERBUG/SIZE-CHANGEBUG)

I have no idea what the specific POIs are but some seem to have an overabundance of loot (and that special stone axe? ) and no sleepers.. I think all POI's could be good if they are balanced with sleepers/loot and look somewhat nice

Prefabs have been updated with sleepers and they are having the mags go over atm. 

 
Idk magoli the greats time schedule lol but yes cp45 should contain the updated prefabs 🙂
yes, and i don't mean to sound like i am rushing him. that is in no way what i am doing lol. i understand hard work is time consuming. i'm just excited to play through the POIs I have grown to love.
