PC Cleared the day 14 horde well before morning?

After fighting the day 14 horde (which turned out to be slightly anticlimactic, for the reason I'll get into now), something most curious happened: the zombies ceased spawning entirely at 1:30 in the morning. I looked through the console menu and quickly determined that the "trickle wave" had been occurring for some time, perhaps an in-game hour. However, due to a combination of my molotovs, iron spikes, and my AK-47, I was able to clear out the horde will before morning. Not that I'm complaining really, but I thought the zombies were always meant to trickle until morning in this update? Apparently they're just treated as a "final wave" instead, where if you exterminate them all before morning, that's that? :yield:

 
i had them stop spawning and the blood moon still going after i had died.  then i restarted the game and they started up again.

but they just stopped spawning and coming after me when i died like at 1am music was still playing and everything but no zombies.  i wass able to just do my normal thinngs. Then i left the game and came right back on at like 2 am game time. This is the first time it has happened to me though. Other times i died to zombie horde i just let the game run untill the blood moon stopped.

Yeah, that's also normal.  When playing solo, if you die during horde night, it will stop horde night.  Supposedly if you attack a zombie that you find on the streets, it will restart, but I've never seen that happen.  But loading the game before 4am will definitely restart it.

As a side note, in multiplayer, if ALL players are dead at the same time, this also stops horde night.

If you have a good base and you can kill them fast, even day 28 is over before 4am. It sucks tbh. I want full horde nights from start back. Or at least at day 14. 

 
First horde zombies never stop coming. Cause i couldnt set a proper parkour to clear them all. So i had to shot down finished all ammo and arrows and not able to kill fast so all night long it took even after morning had to clean rest :)

14th night was also non-stop dog, regular and cop spawning till 03:08am but this time i cleared them all smoothly and 1 hour earlier it was done. ( nomad / 90min day / 12x zombies )

Lots of fun, earlier night was ending at 1am. So boring. Better more zombies till dawn ;)
