clear skys?

is there a way to make the skys clear for the gyro flyin around.. cant see anything in wasteland and burnt area and sometimes the snow

 
I believe you can play around with biomes.xml to adjust some of the effects. I have not personally played around with the settings but noted some are in there for fog, etc.
