Claim Block on dedicated server has no effect !

Hello !

I have noticed on my dedicated server, other players can destroy and build inside a claim area of an other player even the claim is active and the player is online. I don't understand why no team up is done and it's enable on the server setting. I run a PvE Server with "No kill at all". Any Idea to help please ?

It's because you have the LCB damage set to 4, and not 0

<property name="LandClaimOnlineDurabilityModifier" value="4"/>

<property name="LandClaimOfflineDurabilityModifier" value="4"/>

The description for these is a little confusing. You have the hp increased by 4x. That is not impenetrable. That would only take a 1000hp block to 4000hp. You want it to be zero so that there will be no damage.

 
that might be a bug, which require claim owner to logout and login again, because owner of the claim changed, its happening since A17, or its just the modifier, but this doesnt allow build strangers at all

 
I have try the both of solutions it still happen anyone can built and damage block if not alliees in my claim. It's not so a problem of me but for my players they are quit not safe for the stuff even it's PvE server.

Hopefully the server is protected by password (otherside it will be a mess to manage.). It may be a bug and can be fixed with a full wipe next alpha.

There is a admin command to change claim setting IG ?

Personally, you shouldn't be making changes like that with the server up. Turn it off, change the config, then turn it back on again. Making changes "on the fly" has a tendency to introduce problems. (Literally was just having this discussion in voice with someone 5 minutes ago about another server where they changed a BM setting during the actual BM. End result was never-ending stream of zeds until server was restarted.)

 


With your current settings, anyone can damage blocks in claimed areas. The only protection the LCB offers is making it a little bit harder to destroy the blocks.

Also, it is possible that one person can have the issue where their LCB goes inactive for no reason. It's not common, but you can tell by the status of the LCB when looking at the LCB block.

My friend and I are not alliees, not in Party together.

Test existing Ground block protection : Failed

Test Build Block Protection of the owner : FAILED

Claim Block : ACTIVE on the game.

 
Try picking up the block, restarting the server, and then placing it again.

If it occurs again after performing that, please upload the logs from both the client and the server to Pastebin and link them here.

Now we can hear the sound of the claim block after place it but we still able to destruct and build inside the claim.

I have reinstall and generate a new map and its the same. :crushed:
