PC Changing Alphas on Steam

Wondering if anyone can help. I opted into A16.4 in the betas tab. Everything downloaded fine. The game wont open for me. I've verified and even re-installed. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Never got a chance to play older alphas and wanting to mess around till 1.0.

For the older alphas you have to run them from the exe directly, not through the play button (and not a steam desktop link). Find the exe in the game folder and click that, or make a shortcut to it for your desktop for convenience.

THANK YOU! I completely forgot about that. I Went from console straight to A19, so missed a couple in between.
