Change an 8k world seed to 6k

Just curious if this is something that is possible, I have an 8k rwg i have that I am curious to know if I can make it into a smaller 6k world seed? If that is possible

 
You can change the world size to 6k and rerun the seed, but I don't believe you can change a world size after it has already been generated.
