PC Challenged break when you go int ocreative menu?

Is it intended that after going into the creative menu your challenges stop working? We got a forget n elixer instead of restarting a few days in, now that players challenges wont advance.

 
You should probably create a bug report (red banner at the top of the page) and include their log file from when they opened creative menu and then stopped completing challenges.

There is a huge banner that displays that when you enter creative mode that says something like creative move enabled, challenges/achievements disabled.  I saw the banner when I opened the creative menu to grab a dev tool. I think after you exit creative mode and/or restart the game the challenges start working again.  it may be different when a server is involved. You can exit out of creative mode to see if that fixes it or exit out the game/restart the server.

I hope its not a default thing because some items and shapes are still not available in game. We've used creative before to get things we cannot buy or make outselves for cosmetic purposes

Yeah, I can understand achievements being disabled.  But challenges have to be done every game and aren't public, so don't matter.  Besides, most challenges require you to get something by harvesting or gathering it.  You can't cheat and just give yourself the stuff from creative.  And you mostly only get experience and you can cheat that more easily without trying to cheat challenges if you want to. 

And I think challenges that give more that experience are broken.  I completed the first zombie killing challenge that says you get ammo with the experience and I had a single full stack of ammo in my inventory before redeeming that and still had the same stack afterwards.  But that's another issue.

Enter into creative mode and hit escape. The warning message is on the bottom left. It says no progress on challenges while in creative mode. So if you enter CM exit it after you’ve gotten the blocks you want.

Ill have to make sure he left properly then. He thought he did
