Challenge - Can anyone make dart traps damage blocks?

yeah so for some reason ... no matter the ammo you use in a dart trap it will never damage blocks. I think it is not hitting them ... it is something about the block that refuses to let it damage blocks.

If anyone cna do this I would be impressed. .I am still trying to get it to work.
