Cant complete my account setup for this website

Hi folks, please forgive me if i got it wrong, but, how do i complete my account setup for this website? It asks me for my KICKSTARTER details! I don't have, nor have i ever had anything to do with kickstarter, whatever that is!

Thank you in advance. Looking forward to playing 1.0, when it drops in the uk!

 
Hmm, the forums have migrated once or twice since I signed up and I wasn't part of the kick starter.. I do remember needing *some* kind of code though. For me, I was able to get it from Steam, but that's as much as I remember. Roland will probably have to chime in on this one.
