Where do i find Acid?

Well im about to hit 30 and I really want to make wheels for a bicycle. Only issue is I have not found any acid.

Can i get as detailed info as possible on the best places to look for acid?

I have found mine under sinks and at the Pass n Gas. Hope it helps.

EDIT: also wrench the tires for wayyyyyy more polymer.

 
First, it's vital you have "bicycle" playing in the background while crafting...

...but under sinks is the actual answer.

 
I found 2 traders back to back so I have been doing a ton of their missions and I have more acid than I need atm. What I don't have is coal, so I am running around clear-cutting the burnt forest.

Do missions, loot POI's, and you shall have acid.

They should add a recipe to the chem station for it, and maybe to turn oil or gas barrels into plastics. Even Potato based plastics can last a few months the last I read about them.

 
I have been playing like a madman since last weekend. Never seen one acid drop. I have looted everywhere and been doing quests, still nothing. Kinda sucks to work hard to get to 30, wonderful level gates, and still getting screwed by RNG, sigh. Ill keep trying.

Sinks, automotive boxes. Someone said you could get acid wrenching sinks but that seemed like a troll post to me.

After seeing everyone's trouble finding it on here I just said screw it and spawned in the acid I needed to make wheels. The balance on the drop rate is really off so I didn't want to bother with spending a whole week finding acid.

 
sinks. i got a lot of mine from those tiny corner rubble buildings in the burnt biome. There are several tiny pockets of those all over my map.

 
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES EVER USE ACID FOR WHEELS!

You'll get them from vendors eventually, save it for weapons and wepon mods, but NEVER waste it on wheels!

I'm level ~45 on day 27 (1h days) and I have never seen a singular acid.

 
Weird, I have lots of acid. The last run I did through the new apartment dungeon POI I found probably 6 or 8 in there.

But I had my minibike on day 4, I was trying to find acid, but found some pass'n'gas crates which yielded one wheel, then only had to make the one. vroom vroom... or maybe putt putt it's so slow.

2 hour days tho. So a bit more time to search. The apartment dungeon POI took me from 12:45 to almost run time to finish. I was out 20 minutes before that.

So it does take some time.
