Linux Cannot select Properties->Betas/Participation via Steam

Currently have 1.4 game (NOT SERVER) installed but trying to move to 2.0 experimental but when ever I right-click and choose "properties" in steam for 7d2d nothing happens ( just closes the options ).

Is there a way I can select and install the experimental via steamcmd ?

Ubuntu 25.04, i5-12400, Intel A380, 64GB RAM, 4TB SSD
 
UPDATE: Switching to Big Screen mode and using the PS5 controller allowed me to access the beta program.

Wondering if my WM was capturing the clicks or something 🤷 Works now.

I thought current server os for ubuntu was 24.04?

This was just for my desktop setup to play the game; not a server setup. Running U25.04 desktop.

Anyhow, it's all working now, just had to go in to big-screen mode and use the PS5 controller to gain access to the beta selection.
