I got a new pc and was migrating the map my friend and I play on from the old pc to the new.
Old PC: Steam + 7 Days installed on C Drive
New PC: Steam on C drive, 7 Days on D drive (with other games)
Having issues with various errors trying to get the saved game to be recognized, I uninstalled 7 Days to Die to install it on the C drive.
- Right click in Library
- Manage
- Uninstall
Now, I cannot install the game again. instead of "Install" it says "Stream". Going Manage / Browse Local Files, brings me to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with no 7 Days folder. So I cannot furnish logs, I do not have it installed, and appears Steam thinks it's installed but it's not. Is there a way to fix this?
Ok this is just odd. I double clicked it in the library, and it brought up the loading options. I selected the option for the whatever panel that you can launch instead of straight into the game. It loaded on my other PC and was remote controlled from this pc.
I'm to old for any of this. wtf can't it just uninstall/reinstall/work. fml remote desktop via Steam I guess is causing issues? I didn't even know it was a thing.
Also, it doesn't appear I can delete this, so sorry for wasting people's time.
