XBOX Can the devs address the hitching issue on Xbox Series X?

It's now been a year since 1.0 released for console and hitching has been a massive issue that entire time. Framerate tanking is one thing, i can just about tolerate and understand that, especially when i've just walked into a POI with tons of zombies....... but the hitching is brutal and it happens all the time, no matter if there's zombies near me or not. I've lost count of the amount of times i've fallen off a tall building because the game decides to hitch at the wrong moment, and i constantly take unnecessary damage in fights because the game hitches and causes me to miss shots/melee swings - i've even given up using the spear entirely because it's more affected by this than the other melee weapons.

In this last year i've never once seen any mention of this issue from the devs and that really frustrates me. I'd just like you to acknowledge it, agree that it's a big issue, and hopefully tell me you're working on a fix for it.

Thank you.

It is pretty bad. I've also seen the issue compounded by the console hardware itself.

Sometimes I notice the Xbox Dashboard/ homepage struggling to load. Once I launch 7 Days, the gameplay is horrible.

Once I shut down the console, pull out the power cord and leave it for 15 - 20 minutes, power back up and relaunch the game, the gameplay isn't perfect but "much" better and tolerable.

So there's a shared blame here with the game needing better optimization for the poor hardware and the poor hardware needing constant maintenance/restarts to improve stability.

It's not just console. Happens on PC, too. No matter how many settings I adjust, I'm often stopped dead in my tracks while those frames catch up. A final optimization pass will probably be done closer to completion. That's what video card manufacturer apps are for: to help find the optimal settings your rig can handle. Console, they're going to have to lock something down for even if it could be better due to console limitations.

Aside from those optimization passes, there's not much TFP can do about how well it will perform on any particular system.
