my friend was making a custom poi and there was ivy!!! is this something i can get in the game??? where would i get ivy??

There are 2 hanging ivy blocks in the game. In regular play you'd need to use creative menu to spawn in some blocks. Or maybe there's a mod that adds them to crafting.
