Calendar or weekly planner for UI

I might be alone in this as I am very organized whenever I play games like this, but I kinda wish I could create a planner for the week that would appear in the side bar for the Ui. It would help me stay organized as I don't play a lot all at once so I forget where I was in terms of planning for the 7th day.

Just being able to set goals like day 8 - fix up defenses from last horde wave, day 9 - scout for resources (coal, nitrate, iron), etc.

Then I wouldn't get caught off guard when I log back in and forget that I needed to get coal and nitrate and now have no gunpowder to replenish old stock.

Might also display the day of the week (sunday - Day 1, ..., Saturday - Day 7) That way you never lose track of when the horde night is coming. Would be really nice just as a small UI Tweek.

Curious what everyone thinks.

Why dont you build a notice board? Build a Wall, fill the wall with signs and edit the signs as you see fit. you could even do a 5x7 wall and have each one a in game calender day.

That is not a bad solution, but would be much larger than necessary. Plus having a small little prompt on the right side of the screen would be way nicer and I wouldn't need to go back to my base for a refresher.

I just think being able to set custom objectives for a party or individual with no reward attached would be a nice quality of life thing. or even if I could just have a journal to write in so I could have it on me at all times.

I will absolutely be building a notice board, but probably only gonna make a weekly one for space.

Thanks for the idea. I already use signs to keep track of inventory, but didn't think of that.

I keep a diary in a google drive text. In it, as well as writing what I've done and impressions, I like to make plans up until the next blood moon.

I like your suggestion. It would be an official mechanic that tells the player "organize yourself! you and your place are not invencible!".

Yes, i also think that it would be useful for me, and would like a similar opportunity.

But i guess, the practical implementation will be "unnecessary" in the game, so no one does it in any game.

Wouldn't say it would be inpractical. I sometimes lose motivation after a few days of not playing and coming back, because i have to refresh my memory on what i want to do next and how to plan my next steps.

Definitely +1
