PC Buried supplies bug

Any way to remove items from inventory? I failed the buried supplies mission and now the supplies take up 1 inventory space and I can't do anything

 
How did you fail the buried supplies mission if you have the supplies in your inventory?  You could try to go talk to the trader and see if they take them from you.

I opened the box and closed it quickly. The box broke, the objects fell into a backpack and I picked them up, but the mission was canceled by itself.

Strange.  I've never seen that issue.  I tried recreating it but couldn't get it to happen sadly.  The only way I know of to get rid of the supplies is by opening the creative menu and hitting the Clear Inventory button, it's the trash can icon in the upper right corner of your inventory.  Be sure to empty your inventory of all your other stuff first!  This will delete everything in your inventory and on your tool belt so be careful with using it.
