bring back old build items

please bring back the old build items to vanilla mode for us builders..pool tables,fancy colored lights,etc and all the old wallpapers.

actually more paint schemes would be a great addition..7d2d so far imo is the best building system out there. thus far ive made a goblin,a giant rubber duck base,an ork base,and alot more thanks to the advanced block building potential.. you guys got an edge here. want more options for in building items.

Judging by the removal of wardrobe and talk of "paid DLC" on the roadmap/horizon, I'm guessing TFP will be going the Fallout 76 route on "advanced building block potential." Just a guess, mind, but that's what all the "cool" kids are doing: nickle and diming us to death. Apparently, it's "acceptable" to many players, generally younger players who've grown up with that kind of thing and don't see the harm.

Sure. My guess is they had to remove things such as some textures to be able to support the consoles on one code base. In some cases textures have moved to be built into a block, but that wasn't an option with things like wallpaper. While I think there would be options for expanding textures to PCs, I have my doubts about older consoles. If you added textures to only the PC then POIs created with those expanded textures would not be usable on the consoles.

POI is not the biggest problem. If you play on PC and console in the same game and the PC player uses a texture on his house, what should the console player see?

 
They are afraid of performance issues with lots of the new deco blocks, which is why they aren't obtainable in vanilla. I think that's silly and people should be allowed to make those decisions on their own, but whatever. Simple xml mod and I can use whatever blocks I want.
