PC Biome Update Gripe (want dev insight)

Disagreeing with that can be done by posting or by a quick thumbs down, just like the opposite.
True. I can't speak for others, but I try to give my disagreements in short-form comments, rather than "dislikes". Reason being, I can't do anything with a dislike myself, it tells me nothing. Which can't change my mind one bit, as there's nothing to even consider :)

And if I think there is a reason to respond, I do as well.  But this thread already gets very off topic and spending the disagreeing back and forth about something that won't change belongs in a different topic.  I specifically didn't respond so this drawn out discussion that had no real purpose didn't happen.

Some people like quests.  Suggesting removing them won't get only likes. 😉
Can we please, at least, just not call them quests? Quests involve actual questing, i.e. discovering long lost mysteries; resolving factional conflicts; saving and/or destroying entire worlds; etc. and so forth. "Fetch this," "'Clear that'." Why? No reason, really. What passes for "quests" in video games today are nothing but randomized "stuff to do" for no reason whatsoever. (I blame BGS and their so-called "radiant" quest system.  ;) ) 7DTD's might be called odd jobs. Remind me again. What is my avatar risking his or her life for in taking on a "quest" in 7DTD? A couple of bullets? An ear of corn? A molotov or two? (Well, actually, the molotovs aren't so bad considering how many cans of gas it takes to craft a single one.)

Part and parcel of that industry quest for the holy grail of game development? {robot dance}
