Biome storms are just a 'stop playing' mechanic.

Tihihi autocorrect.
But .. there might be. There's a weather -command, with a storm, time-in-hours and biome name as attributes; I didn't manage to make it do anything though last I tried. Maybe I didn't guess the biome names right.

Google translate. I don't speak English.
Huh, that's a weird translation then. "Binomial" is mostly a mathematical term; biome is the in-game term and a geographical / biology term. I could see autocorrect ending up with it because of the close spelling, but a translator I would assume to stay with the meaning of the word. Guess not :)

I seem to have made a typo and wrote "бином" instead of "биом". Well, that's how the translator translated it. The terms are similar in spelling, apparently he didn't notice.

I had already forgotten that such a term exists in mathematics.

Yeah, they slide around as if on ice, even in the non-snow biomes. Fairly annoying, especially when you can't see the storm ahead of time. Drove into the desert in my truck only for it to be amidst a storm and even during the grace period, the truck slid like crazy. Ended up t-boned upside a tree and had the truck drop from 50% to 20% (semi-related, can the truck not be made of tissue paper compared to motorcycles?)
Should be more biome related. In Arctic zones, yeah, driving on ice. Burnt zones? Perhaps a sputtering/stuttering speed as the engine tries to get air. Desert? Possibly a ramp up and shutdown as it overheats, forcing you to sit there for a time until it cools down. Not sure what to differ it in wastelands.
