Biome Lighting Transitions

The lighting looks awesome in 2.0. What'd you do?

The biome transitions, on the other hand, are practically nonexistent. At least, they don't flicker anymore, but it's jarring to move from one biome to another and from bright and cheery to oppressive instantly. Is there some way in Unity to blend that a little better?

Yeah, I've wanted a fade on that for a very long time. Such a small thing that makes such a big difference.
 
Something I've thought about improving. Doing a timed fade instead of a distance based fade only updating once per meter. The problem is I always have more ideas for improvements than time to actually do them.

The solution is so obvious - your next project should be a cloning machine.
