Better storm effects and a slight rework on mechanics

It would really be amazing to look into the sky or off into the distance and see lightning occasionally. Perhaps also make the dust particles move with the wind instead of just swirling around in block segments. During storms the ground and trees in the burnt biome should catch fire. In the wasteland there should be no timer when going outdoors, if you go out it is instant damage and radiation poisoning that requires fallout flush. etc.. etc... On a side note, aside from making the tonics so we can get the Biome PPE, what is their purpose? It seems as if that is their only purpose. Since I got my PPE, I have never required those tonics again... Maybe this is an opportunity to keep them relevant.

Here is a great example of some amazing weather effects:

Check out the ceiling at my base during a storm.... no bueno..
When you walk around slowly, do you ever get the orange warning?
I mean if you put down a single layer of removable buildingblock on the
floor and walk on them. Near the door and the electrical unit and wiring?
With your ceiling height you may have to use two blocks.

That would be one way to find the leak.

The ceiling at this base is from the original poi. Pass n gas store #10. Yeah I’m sure adding another layer would help. I don’t seem to get a warning though. The dust is 2D though. When I move it also moves and turns. As the photo shows, it’s like a piece of paper.

I’d also like if they had an option to disable the timer for storms. Once the storms start you get instant damage. And the damage depends on the biome you’re in. Burns and breathing problems for the burnt forest, radiation for the wasteland, frostbite for the snow, breathing and vision damage for the desert, and just wet and chilly in the forest.

I'd like that, but, there would be a different type of storm that would follow.
I like pretty much any idea that enhances the environment, but I accepted a
long time ago after reading, more about Unity, voxels, and rendering in general.
With a single threaded process, the more detail, animation, and intricate processes
added the less there will be. Or it will start to look like a View Master, 1 slide at a time.

So I try to adjust what I can, where i can, and when i can, thus far I'm still satisfied with it.
