PC Best source of glass in A21?

I used to get glass everytime I broke a window or destroyed a painting, and now it seems to be very selective windows.

The only reliable source I have found are bathroom mirrors.

Can we craft it in the forge? 

Where are the best glass resources now?

I am trying to make a 2x scope for my crossbow and spent most of a day hunting for glass and probably broke 100 windows and I am still 3 glass short of the 15 I need.

Beer bottles you see all over the place. Whenever you see one smash it. Any bars and restaurants usually have lots of them. 

I had the same problem. Fixed it by smashing bottles and then whenever I went out I smashed every bottle I found and now I have a 70ish stack of broken glass.

There is also the trash piles on the floor, one of em looks like it has a plate and some green glass, and then in some other poi's there is shattered glass on the floor, both can be harvested for glass as well.

 
Thanks for the feedback! I got the sneak over debris and no noise book day one so I haven't been destroying trash on the ground.

I hope that the sort-of reflective (to my eyes) panels that represent mirrors in large bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms, and so on, get some refinement. New sacrifices to the Chaos Gods, my friends had played a couple co-op sessions with me and questioned why I kept smashing "shiny metal sheets" (as they interpreted it) to get glass for our scopes.
