PC Base reset again

this is getting pretty frustrating guys, i get to late game stages, the game crashes and i lose almost everything. is there not a rollback save feature that can be put in?

its getting really annoying to put days, weeks and on occasion months into a base only to have it destroyed in seconds.

when console players dont have the luxury of duping save games we need a save feature.

been with this game on the pc since early alpha and i really love it but this console MD5/base reset thing makes me want to just give up at least on the console version.

Its possible to save your save game on a thumb drive. At least I know its possible on PS4.

You can also save it online and download it again when it crashed.

Hi Strayheart,

I am sorry to hear the MD5 error has effected your save, and I completely understand how frustrating and disheartening it can be to not only have it happen once, but multiple times.

As you mentioned not being able to dupe saves, I am assuming you are playing on XB1 (Which unfortunately Elixz89, can not back up saves via USB like PS4 can). While not ideal, there is a workaround a player found that might be able to reduce the effects of any future MD5 errors for you - https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?69218-Possible-work-around-and-or-solution-to-md5-crashes(base-wipes-resets) - As this is an unofficial workaround, caution is advised.

Shouldn't be a workaround

After losing my base after 164 days and now again at 72 I'm done w the game. There shouldn't be a workaround there should have been a resolution a long time ago.
