Backpack and zombie lootbox stuck on wooden traps – cannot pick up

When a player’s backpack (after death) or a zombie lootbox lands on a wooden trap (or similar object), there’s a high chance that the item cannot be picked up unless the trap/block below is destroyed. This can result in unnecessary loot loss or damage to player-built structures.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Place a wooden trap (e.g., spike trap).
  2. Die on top of it or kill a zombie so loot drops onto the trap.
  3. Try to pick up the backpack/lootbox – nothing happens.
  4. Destroy the trap – pickup becomes available.

Expected Behavior:
Backpacks and lootboxes should always be retrievable, regardless of what surface they land on.

Actual Behavior:
The interaction is blocked when the item is resting on certain trap blocks.

Small Suggestions for 2.0:

Vehicles and electronics have huge potential but feel underutilized.
There are some vehicles and basic mods, but adding visual customization, different models (more bikes, cars), and more functional mods would expand the system massively.
Same for electronics – features like logic gates, automation, CCTV cameras, and more interactive traps would bring the gameplay to the next level.

I've had that happen to me several times on 1.4, have some zombies die on my spike traps and drop a loot bag. Was never a big deal for me to destroy the trap, collect my loot and then slap down a new trap since I always make about a hundred more for back up anyways.

i build a lot of spike traps and it happens all the time that the lootbag is irretrievable without destroying the traps....i mostly consider horde nights to be a lost cause and dont even bother picking up lootbags unless they are in the perimeter just because i do stacked density and dont want to destroy 5-6 traps just to find out what was in a bag

Thank you for reporting.
There was a fix for not being able to access loot bags in spikes in V2.0. I see that your ticket is for both V1.4 and V2.0, but the attached logs are for V1.4.
I have not been able to reproduce the issue in V2.0. If possible, can you post a video of the issue happening in V2.0?
