Backend administration tools?

I regularly play on a server and was contemplating offering to help on the backend, given my background in networking and server administration.

We seem to be dealing with file corruption quite often despite having good specs on the server and new hardware.

Are there any tools out there to inspect region files for corruption? Is there a thread or a site for managing 7dtd servers?

There is a scripting mod that has an auto-repair feature for the region files, but I have not tested it.
