PC Awesome seeds for random gen ALPHA 17.0-.1

Hey guys, what you mean is the "Best" seed name for 16384 with big/many Citys and much intact buildings.

My last server was a "after apokalyps" with to many destroyed buildings (WTF ^^) and too much ruins.....

And many city was not there :-( i need endless STUFF for endless LOOT :p

Here is a very decent one! :smile-new:

seed: The Village

size 8k generated in A17.1 b9

-3 traders pretty close and 4th not too far away (red square on pic)

-Tools and guns store with in the center south 1 big tool and 1 big gun store facing each other. There is 4 tools and 4 guns stores on map

-1 big skyscraper and some constructions sites too ans SM hq

-Very decent biomes distribution with not too many wasteland

-A lot of big cities with countless POI

-prefab file 257k

so far it's the best map I've tested since rwg awfull change

Ok, 16k size, it will NOT zoom all the way out in the previewer. (bug or limitation)

20 traders.

Some mega cities (several small ones clustered)

cities in the 4 corners in the pic,

3 in cluster due west of map, and due south.

city due north.

This is using the trader edits, and the rwgmixer edits discussed earlier.

263ko prefabs file

14 skyscrapers on it all of them but skyscraper_01 missing (lots of skyscrapers_04 to rename in prefab tho),

good amount of stores, 3 factories and all the good pois +

extra a full load of celltower/armycamp/waterandelectricwork/junkyard (enter the name of massive spawning poi's you want) that you can erase and/or replace in the prefabs.

5 traders , 3 of them close to each other :

I'm curious why is prefab size relevant? I don't even see it as a setting on the map generator.

Also does the map side effect the seed generation? I hardly see anyone put in what map size then used.

prefabs is where the buildings are stored, so the bigger it is, the most POI's you'll find the smallier it is the more wilderness with empty space, you're right for size, i will add mine, but by default size gen is 8k since 16k doesn't work properly atm, the map size seems to change the seed, but in my small experience juicy ones seems to remains juicy (prefabs file again) whether 8k or 10/12k (using RELXIX_UIMENU_MoreRWGSizeOptions modlet to try it out)

Strange thing it only has 4 traders on it but again with this prefabs file (full of spawning pois) and sizes of poi you can add whatever you want

Ok so I have a quick question. what code do I edit to spawn more Prisons. I generally like to use them as a base, but it seems when I do find them they are in really crappy biomes.

 
The prefabs file, you check in the world preview a biome at your convenience and it's coordinate (approximately) then in prefabs you look for a big poi around those location (since prison is a big one) as junkyard_lg01 or else (skyscraper_04) and you replace it by the prison_01 and you can even spawn around if you like by editing spawnpoints

Hi Guys, I am coming back to 7DTD after giving ATLAS a whirl. I want to try the RWG but not sure if its working yet. Any update or advice? I saw a post that 16k might not work properly.

I would like to go as large as possible.

 
Hey zuzad, the RWG will change very soon (for 17.2 it seems), 16k works but are very long to create (even on OP PC) and if used in MP could cause issue for other players. Starbuck seems to be good in 16k if you want to try, if you play solo you'll have no problems if you got a good pc.

For science i did generate SpiritHorseOfTheCherokee in 14k got a 449k prefabs huge cities as in 8k even if world generated is different (it took almost 45minutes tho) I generated it in 16k (63mn50 to do so) to see differences 533ko prefabs the biomes distribution remains the same in 8k/14k/16k and 8k map is the bottom half left of the 16k map biomes exactly, cities seems to spread out more depending of sizes and be further away from each others

Hi All,

I'm trying to change my world seed but changing the name only doesnt' change the map any longer. Is there a list of the numbers that are used for the actually map names? Like my first one was Batove Valley and I found a number on this thread and it changed to Pidiza County. Is there a list of these? I'm very confused with this change

 
OK SO HOW IN THE ACTUAL ^%$#@ do I get a new map. every game, every name, every time, ZUHENI TERRITORY. what the hell. what secret directory do i have to delete now?
