PC Auto Turrets and Steel Casing rounds....

Is it a bug that they don't work together, or is that intended?

Just curious and keep forgetting to ask the forum.

My guess is its intended, to keep the costs of using them up there since you need brass casings. What I wanna know is when they going to enable the 3rd ammo type for the various calibers. 9mm brass is 25 dmg, but there is a 9mm JHP that has a base damage of 35, its just commented out in the xml's atm. Is a round like this for 7.62mm and Magnums as well I believe, though I think the mag/rifle rounds are Armor Piercing, and ignore a percent of the targets armor. The hunting rifle is intersting, the devs made it complete garbage on purpose. Reason being: "Hunting rifle kinda sucks but we don't want bandits toting all AKs and semi auto sniper rifles..."

I'll be honest I don't like the new rounds.

I prefer ammo to be simple.

To me it's just more inventory clutter.

I get that many love having variety and that's fine.

Just not my thing.

I've posted bug report on it some time ago.

We'll see where it'll go from there.

I don't think they intended shotgun turret to be superior one due to how cheap ammo crafting for it is.

I tend to lean on choices which borrow from realism if it improves gameplay.

If TFP has taken the initiative to ease the burden on brass by introducing steel casings (which is an actual thing), I'm fine by it. I could see why it wouldn't be usable in turrets (albeit arbitrarily), I'm fine by either result being, allowing the use of or not.

It's the same thing with other resources such as bones as some have been rather fervent or just plain petulant about it. If TFP decides ultimately the supply will be as such, work around it. If they increase supply, good, more bang bang.

Sometimes, it's not about agreeing with everything TFP does, but more of, you can't affect every decision and focus on other aspects which really matter. (what 'matters' of course, is subjective)

I wasn't agreeing or disagreeing with anything? I simply asked a question lol.

Haha, it wasn't directed at you specifically, just read your posts and the replies that came after and posted my thoughts in general to everything said thus far.
