Arrow Turrets, ballista, etc

I'd be nice if we had more low-tech, relatively, base-defence installations to chose from. Particularly those involving traditional castle defence. Of course, an auto-arrow turret is particularly low tech, but the option would be nice.

I could see a large ballista that you had to manually fire from a fixed position. Slow reload but did tons of piercing damage, penetration, and ragdoll effects.

Would love this! Makes sense, too. Use bow parts to make a ballista and upgrade from primitive, to wood, to iron, to steel. Arrows go from flying stakes of wood to iron, steel, and explosive-tipped bolts which use more resources than standard arrrows. You can impale zombies to walls. Can imagine making a typical walkway-style base and two to four of you are on ballistas at the other end. You can screwer two or three zombies at once and send them flying into the sky!
