The new armor is pretty nice overall but the comparison needs improved. Right now, you only see certain things in the comparison so unless you are checking things manually, it may look like one is better because it doesn't show that something is removed. All stats from both items need to be shown in the comparison.
Also, what is the point of having +bartering and +bartering (buying)? Just have one or the other.
I'm also finding that the level 1 armor you find early game feels worse that the primitive armor of you craft higher versions of it. It technically isn't worse, but it feels like it. Might need to adjust stats a bit.
