I like to progress as quick as possible when I play this game. So of course my first goal is getting a workbench and forge. I found those schematics quickly, after only a couple days. After that I of course had my eyes on the crucible.
To unlock it through skills you need level 10 intelligence and 4 or 5 levels in the right perk. That was gonna take way too long so I spent my time clearing dozens and dozens of POIs. What I noticed is I was getting a crazy amount of duplicate schematics. Around 5 of each of the important ones like steel tools, armor, etc. And for smaller schematics, often around 10-20 duplicates.
I had done so much looting but still never got the crucible schematic. I figured it was just extremely rare and kept going. On exactly the 21st day, I started getting tons of new schematics. I looted a few houses, and came out with like 8 new recipes. INCLUDING 2 CRUCIBLE SCHEMATICS.
Are some schematics locked until certain game days are reached? Of course 21 days is the 3rd blood moon so it sort of makes sense. Since I reached 21 days, almost every schematic I get is new (including the perk books). I looked around online but couldn't find anything about this.
