PC Are landmines good for horde night defense?

I mean, they deal damage to the blocks under and around it, right? This effectively aids the zombie in bringing walls down, depending on how it's placed. I can't see them being as near as solid as barbed wire or spikes.

How are they supposed to be used?

Never used them, but i guess they are a good idea as part of the last defense. (like arround the last tower in a fortress)

I know right? Why use a tile with a one-use mine if there are more worthwhile options, like the humblest wood spike.

I think if you could plant the mine underneath a trap, in the same tile, these babies would be more enticing.

I made a minelayer block that can spawn up to 7 mines and take damage with every mine that explode

But i am maybe the wrong person to judge these kind of defenses. Mainly i use only Barbwire and blades

Ahh and btw the Minelayer finally (all4 stages the last is a massive scrap block)

But its on myy ToDo list to make a base that uses this minelayers, even if only for testing in action

ahhh that scratches off a down side of them.

still, every tile counts, and mines, at least the low tech ones, look like a poor choice.

they are terribly amusing when the zds go flying all over the show

I do not have A17.2 xml right now, but in a17E all mines did (minor) block damage
