Apple trees/ability to pick up a crates

Have been thinking of apples, like apple trees to go with the bee hive just to add something extra for the food.
I wonder if it would be possible to pick up a crate and put into the trucks inventory instead of emptying the crates all the time

They aren't likely to let you pick up anything that has stuff in its inventory. That just makes it too easy to move a lot of stuff around. That's why you can't pick up a vehicle or drone with stuff in its inventory.

As far as apples go, there's nothing wrong with it, but it doesn't seem like it's really worth the dev/art time. If they really wanted more food items, they can make them without needing new ingredients, saving dev and art time. And there really isn't any reason to add more, imo. It wouldn't hurt, but in this game, food is food. Beyond the ingredients to make it, the only difference is how full it makes you and if it adds or removes hydration. And I suppose honey food will cure infection, though that's not any different than if you just use the honey directly.

Yeah i get what your saying, it's just been something that's stuck in my head awhile so it's been nice to finally say it so to speak.

Apples, grapes, strawberrys, raspberrys, blackberrys, pears, cherrys, plums... Tons of kinds of fruit plants that could benefit from bee hives.

I like the idea of fruit trees. A game called Rising World has them in the wild. They would have to make the harvest large, but not often. Perhaps Once every 25 days and you get 25 apples. Once harvesting, the tree still remains. They should make blueberries like that. IRL you don't rip the blueberry bush out to harvest them LOLOL.

For the crates though, they probably won't do that. It can be exploited. You can then pack crates and then stack them in vehicle storage.
