PC AP 9mm ammo in SMG turret

Hi !

Simple question : are AP 9mm Ammo effective in a SMG turret ? 

My 2 SMG turrets are shoting in the back of the Demo, and I would like to know if they will be more effectives loaded with AP ammo.

AP and HP ammo cannot be loaded into the turrets, just the ball ammo (shells for Shotgun turrets)

Also, you don't need to shoot demos in the back with SMG turrets anymore, none of the traps trigger demos.

While true for traps, I'm pretty sure the robotic sledge and robotic turret will still set them off. They're classed differently than auto turrets.
