PC Anybody melting down Dukes for brass?

Money has been way more tight with A20

I save every piece of brass I get and never run out.  Then again I only use guns on a horde night, otherwise its bow and club all day for me.

in alpha 19 yes all the time, only thing they were good for after a certain point.

in alpha 20 nope there is ammo everywhere and i got more than i can use lol

No, but I've been selling all my brass for dukes.

Not yet but I'm sure we will soon.  We like to do quests and go on looting runs so we are rolling in dukes.  Day 13 and we have almost 50k so far.

Brass is FAR more common in alpha 20, so I haven't found the need to

Definitely not, we can get solar panels and banks, I'm not gonna turn down free power. Especially with the over abundance of loot. I've got a quality 2 m60 on day 16, ain't no way I'm melting my dukes!

I actually love the fact that dukes are still useful past lvl 70.  I remember more than once I've melted down a big storage box full of them.

I hardly do trader missions and dukes have not been problem. And brass is ezpz when get salvage 5.  Wrench the heat radiators in POIs for 2 radiators to smelt from each.
