PC Any way to mitigate (remove/reduce) Death Trauma?

^ see title. Meds? Food? something? Being crippled for a real life hour is too much.

I get consequence, but basically stealing an irreplaceable hour of my life... no. just no.

Please let me know, if there is not an in-game mechanic, I will just mod it out.

The in-game mechanic is ... DON'T DIE. ;)

Death has a penalty now. I like it.

(should it be like 30 mins and scale for higher levels.. maybe)

30m = 1-10th level

45m = 10-30th level

1.0 hr = 40-80th level

1.30 =80-100th level

2.0hr = 100-200th level

the time being, casuals like myself who don't want an entire playsession ruined by a ninja dog, hit F1 and type 'debuff buffNearDeathTrauma' and it goes away. You can also modify buffs.xml in SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\7 Days To Die\Data\Config and go to the entry with line beginning "<buff name="buffNearDeathTrauma"", and set the duration to 900 (15 mins).

Credit to Giltirn for the above

And fwiw I Don't like the new death penalty and use the above fix

As helpful, and logical as "don't die" might be. I think I'll mod in a difficult recipe for countermeasure.

This way I keep the threat, but give a gameplay option as a solution.

I actually set mine to 60 seconds because I'm not a fan of that debuff.
