PC Any Ideas?

Greetings,

With the announcements of the simultaneous release of Alpha22 and the Console version, does anyone have a idea of the Alpha22 timeframe?

I want to keep my hopes up but I get tired of constantly looking for a glimmer of hope.

 
From what I understand currently, a22 will drop to PC users, and then probably a month later it will drop to consoles. I personally feel that it is likely to be happening early 2024, but I am just guessing based on what I can see from development. This estimate is in no way supported by TFP. 

It will not be an update to the existing version. I'm not sure if they will offer it as a free download or if it will require purchasing. Most likely the latter, though I have heard they may be investigating the ability to offer discounts to verified purchasers of the previous version.

 
That timeframe would be great. Early 2024 is around the corner and I will pleasantly wait for announcements.

I can imagine that a full purchase would be required. Maybe a discount for previous owners, similar to a software upgrade cost, would be awesome.

 
GNS mentioned at TwitchCon that the Blood Moons EA would likely start around the same time as A22 dropped(likely the PC release for A22) and that he got the impression that April was their hopeful target. No guarantees though.
