Announcing: V3.0 Streamer Weekend Event!

Hey Survivors,

The V3.0 Dead Hot Summer Update (Experimental opt-in) will be released for Windows/Mac/Linux on Monday, June 15th. That means the 3.0 Streamer Weekend Event will begin THIS FRIDAY, June 12th at 12 PM CST.

As with the last event, we will coordinate with the streamers through Lurkit. If you’re one of the handful of returning streamers that can’t use Lurkit, we’ve already contacted you about participating through Discord.

Applications for this event are closed. But if you’re a streamer and you’re interested in future events, you can apply to the Creator Program at any time.

Fans will have a wealth of options to see all the new features & content of V3.0:

• 3 days of streaming
• 500+ streamers
• 45+ countries represented
• 20+ languages spoken

Many will be streaming all weekend, and even giving away free keys to the (V2.6) game! Check their channels for their upcoming weekend schedules.

It´s basically a play test. And you still would get it on a monday and probably at least a week later as usually there are usually hotfixes done for issues that occur during the weekend before releasing it to the public.

You are a bit late. There is usually a thread weeks before the release where you can apply for streamer weekend.

It doesn't work like that anymore. You apply to be part of the Content Creator program, then you are eligible to all the future streamer weekends.

Also, he meant Alpha 8.0 and not 0.08 (that made me laugh).
