PC AMD FSR & NVIDIA Reflex

How come NVIDIA Reflex and AMD FSR are absent? Both have been around for several years and work with DirectX11, so I'm wondering what's holding back their inclusion in the game. Any insights on potential technical challenges or licensing issues?

Since this doesn't have anything to do with the Console version of the game, I'll send it to the correct section of the forum.  Please be mindful of where you are posting.

Not sure about Reflex, but faatal stated in November that there are issues with motion blur with FSR that require making changes to rendering and shadows that they haven't tried yet as they are working on other issues right now.

Oops sorry I didn't consider that console would have it's own section. Thanks for taking care of it!

Would this really help frame rates? I thought FPS was bound to the CPU and not the GPU due to the voxel/physics nature of the game.

For the most part a lot of it is. However there is still some post-processing that can benefit when you want to use a number of premium graphic options.

The game is CPU-bound primarily because of loading and unloading chunk data from the storage drive, calculating structural integrity, and managing the entities and AI. As a result, most players hit a CPU bottleneck long before they hit a GPU bottleneck.

Who de fack like motion blur, just remove that option ingame and add fsr with frame generation.

pffft motion blur

Do you have these settings in your video card utility? I don't use them, but maybe you can force it to engage. I do that with my GPU by setting the game resolution to a lower resolution than my desktop and my AMD software upscales it to desktop res. I believe that is how Super Resolution works.
