PC AMD 5700 GPU owner feedback

With the release of A19.2 B3 Experimental, we're looking for owners of AMD 5700 GPU's to give us some feedback on the potential fix for the white flickering dots on the terrain that some users reported back in A18.

NOTE: This is a different issue to the glitter issue seen in the wasteland/burnt biomes.

Owner here.  I haven't upgraded to the experimental, still running 19.1 stable but I see in some textures around ore's you know the blocks on the ground having some sprinkles.

I do see some bright highlights but I believe that is a different issue (light blooms??)

I may run experimental separately if there is something I can validate or check, but not currently planning on playing this version of experimental.

i've had those sparkling before

in AMD settings turned off FreeSync and it's stopped for me.

Now is legit.

5700XT

no issues with glitter.  My screen will go black randomly for a few seconds.

with the latest update I can no longer use my controller exclusively for vehicles.  The left thumb stick does not move the vehicle forward or backwards

I have no issues anymore. Either A19 or AMD drivers fixed the issue.

(Using a 5700 XT 50th Edition)

Love the game on Xbox, I decided to get it for my PC, I have the base 5700, sadly even on the lowest settings it maxs my vram out and over heats my GPU :( my GPU has been over heating on games it never had a problem with since I played it and has been buggy. Is it good for me to play now? That all happened on the 19.1 stable.

Sounds more like a hardware defect, for example the heat sink not fastenend correctly or the fans not working. Or your computer case is keeping the heat inside.

I've had something like this happen under Linux with my RX-480 & RX-590 but I'm not running right now to test. Don't have the 5700 series cards in any system right now. Will report back if I see the issue again.

Hi, I'm currently running a 19.2 on my own server and I have a 5700XT. I haven't had any issues so far.

Intel 8700K

MSI 5700 XT

32GBs 3200Mhz RAM

144Hz Monitor with Freesync disabled.

So far so good!
I had terrible experience with my 5700XT, from poor performance to texture flickering (white flickering on roads). Issues seem to be resolved

I had the issues I have a 5700xt taichi and it only happened to me on ultra settings and the way I fixed it was going to set it on med visual and then manually change then to ultra saving one at a time and checking

@devs, are there certain settings you'd like us to try? 5700 xt owner so i could test. but i haven't had any issues in A19 so far with terrain.
