You should try and do the same thing, but without any stealth skill.  I am curious if you even see a difference at all.

If you want to go the extra mile and try it with another silenced weapon, like a pump shotgun, that would be interesting as well.
Just did, very nice idea. Without any stealth, the difference was rather noticeable. The silencer had an obvious help, but I was waking up quite a bit up in each room although it did prevent the adjacent room and things outside from coming to me. Same for the crossbow, although it was a bit sneakier. With perks, the tac rifle and ak47 were slightly more audible than the Vulture, but as long as I let the bar cooldown for a moment in between shots I was fine. The shotgun was about the same, although I think the pellet ricochet was waking things up sometimes.

One funny moment was in a room with 4 sleepers next to each other. Shot one from a distance with the shotty and he didn't die and ran right to me, put his back against my face and stood there not noticing me. Got another sneak bonus then picked off the rest one by one. Fun times. OP times, but fun.

Yeah, I know the way some of the POIs are set up you can just do it sneaky with a un-silenced shotgun without any from the shadows, which is related to some of the issues Jost talks about.

One funny thing you can do is get sneak attack kills with robotic sledges.  It would be super funny to do a sneaky build where you have hidden strike and only use robotic sledges, heh.

Im finding it hard to justify From the Shadows even on my agility run. Not sure if tying in the stealth damage perk with it would be reasonable or too strong either

I wonder how it would be like if they removed all sneak attack damage from everything but weapons that come with a built in bonus. As well as up their noise so that it was pointless to use them in sneak. However investing in From the Shadows and Hidden Strike will restore them to how they are now and using a silencer as well. In fact as a bonus buff the effectiveness of the silencer with just the pistol and to a lesser extend the SMG. While removing the ability to use the silencer with Magnums or Desert Vultures.

I think sneak should be an all in one perk after all (quieter actions, more base stealth, faster stealth movement, and sneak damage)

It is useless in pvp, horde night, and semi-useless in auto aggro triggers so as a niche skill, costing 5 points for all of that is fine and makes it more reasonable. Wouldnt mind if stealth damage was lowered to +150% or +125% from the perk at rank 5 to compensate.

Really op/funny to pick off a whole pack of sleepers one by one.
I just did that with the POI that is a "haunted house" with the lab down below (the one where you can just break the porch to immediately get to the main loot).

I don't have anything in From The Shadows (or maybe just one point? can't remember). But I put a few points into Hidden Strike and it's pretty powerful. With the compound bow or crossbow and iron ammo, you can one-shot cops. (EDIT: and most radiated zombies.) Cleared out the entire downstairs section without waking up anyone except the zombie inside the glass chamber (since you can't get to him without breaking the glass).

To me, putting a point into each is a must-have early game. Clearing out a POI when you have next to nothing is pretty risky business, I go stealth as much as possible at that point.

When I was testing stealth, I put all my points in hidden strike and from the shadows, so I was almost helpless when I hit scripted aggro, because I was basically just a guy with a quality 1 bow, lel.

Stealth also seems to work just as well without from the shadows, so stealth is not really even an agility thing, other than a place to waste some points.  Hidden strike is okay though.
Judging by a lot of the perks and the perk books, perhaps Agility is best suited for nighttime raiding?

Thats what i am thinking, i don't have the levels or armor as of yet for night time raiding and looting, but once night vision goggles are mine it could be fun, im loving my run, i sell anything that isn't 9mm, i keep arrows and bolts, im only using agility tree weapons period, its interesting and im liking it more than what im used too

I have been using stealth for night time raiding since day 2, using a shiv and a primitive bow. luckily i got nightvision on day 6, cost me 4k tho

as I said, a few muffled connectors in the padded armor and you dont even need stealth perks, just dont sneak sprint and keep to the shadows, break the garbage. though I will admit, the night stalker series is pretty good with helping out, only have 3 books atm

You don't need to have points into firearms to use them and while they are not as quiet, they do have higher DPS than bows.

Yeah, I did not find any real firearms for a while in that game, I found ammo though.

I did find a blunderbuss though and I totally used it lol.  Although it made me miss my normal build, cause I usually do str/intel.

If I were going to do the agility build again, I would probably scrap from the shadows and hidden strike, and just get bow, pistol and parkour.  Later I would pick up run N gun and then head deep into fortitude.

Nonetheless, if all zombies should be able to hear you fire a gun that is attached with a silencer, then why equip the silencer in the first place? Just some food for thought.

How could it cause more damage per shot like almost all the other mods is the real question.

That all annoys me on a small scale too, but it's like pain when your old like me: I ignore pain until it affects my blood pressure!

In other words: I like playing a game until realism is screaming bloody murder!  😅

After take-off always try to be level to the ground. If you want to go higher, use space once or max twice and after reaching the correct height, go back to leveled flight.

The same if you want to land, don't hit c a lot of times, start descending slowly. If you are double tree height for example, you would start descending maybe 400m before the target area. In the air you have lots of time, always make small changes to height or direction, don't try to do both at the same time.

Never use "E" in flight 😉

If you start to descent too fast, it is often hard to get back to a normal descent. If the ground approaches fast, try to hit "E" just a tenth of a second before hitting the ground and you will still have a soft landing.

Take-off is difficult if you don't have an unobstructed path. First get up to some speed and then just hit space once every second until you feel you are taking off. Immediately stop using space and get above tree height. Then level. Should you hit an object and your gyro then looks like it wants to take off vertically, hit c a few times until you are nearly leveled, only then try to steer into the right direction.
😲 Wow, is that all, lol.

Gotcha, thanks for the tips.

💩 Here's some poo back at you @Rubens9311. Why would you poo my post that was simply asking a question?

Sadly my poo looks like a happy poo.....

Probably because you said you gave up on it and he probably really likes the gyrocopter. I sent you some flowers to offset it. :)  If you ever forget Mega's advice and press E while in flight I'll put some more on your grave. ;)

👍 Thanks Roland. Hey I didn't say I didn't "like" the gyrocopter, just not what I was expecting.

I heard it was derpy but....dayumn!

I use the <Page Up> and <Page Down> keys instead of the <C> and <Space Bar>.

Now how does that help with the "E" key you ask?

With that setup, my left hand is fixed during the whole flight on the A,W and D keys and my right hand takes care of altitude and any mouse adjustments.

Before, my hand would slide over sometimes when I hit the "C" key.

Probably a known bug, but...

I had a few fetch & fetch/clear quests. Done 2 of them so I had 2 white river supplies items in my inventory. Came to the POI for the 3rd quest and accepted it.

It went straight to complete without me even entering the POI. Now I have 3 completed quests but only 2 supplies.

Hi,

had an unusual incident ('bug'?) occur in A19 stable this morning. Found a Grade 1 pistol in a toilet with ca. 25% quality, had one repair kit in inventory, clicked it to repair, kit gone and no pistol in inventory. It happened that fast I thought at first that maybe I had hit scrap pistol instead of repair, but if I had then where did the repair kit go and why would I not have had small gun parts in inventory?

Has there been a chance factor of repairing or destroying something when repairing added in the game or not?

I mean after all DIY repairs in reality don't allows give the result u want.... 😉
