That's not what was asked... And in this case, "previous" means recent enough to be compatible.

Considering that b180 *is* the same version as this stable, there should be no _need_ for a wipe.

Thanks. Looks like the explanation text that @Jost Amman quoted is at least a couple versions out of date then. :D

Worst case I mute all but the salvageable gun sound effects and talk over. Could be so much easier though and better. I'm not sure why a game dev would not allow their game menu audio to be used on their game footage even if it is under NDA but I guess I have to roll with it.

I'm just not going to update for this very reason.

 
Well, yeah. I don't think the experimental branch would ever update itself to stable, except when they lock it up (e.g. for streamer weekends, iirc)...

Uninstall all you have, Right click on 7dtd in Steam library > properties > betas tab > A 19 stable. 

A restart of steam could be needed, either. Between uninstall and install. Just a hint buddy ;)

One could also die from a discharged electrical outlet, or a car crash, or someone breaking into your home. Of course these things happen and they're terrible, and it's good to be aware, but at the same time, if one were to be paranoid about every possible thing that could cause them harm, then they would never live. Again, this kind of knowledge is good to know, but not to grow. :)

... do you ever try to understand the context of what you're replying to?!? Don't need to uninstall anything, so i won't. Plus, there's no "A19 stable" in the betas tab. -.-

Maybe Phoenixshade35 might want to take your advice, but i wouldn't recommend it, since you've given it without a shred of interest on what their current environment is.
