@MM

For what reason is there no deterioration in the quality of the item after repair?

Why is this done? this makes the item eternal in the presence of repair whales.

What changes? From what I've read everyone loves A19. Any drastic changes are long behind us. People who like 18 love 19, am I right?

No, as a matter of fact, as a paying customer of yours, no I do not like everything you have done.

Crazy buffs to the animals..nope.

Magic swarms of vultures if I try to get away to regroup, or avoid the horde cause i'm more into light adventure and building..nope.

Improved graphics with a crippling FPS loss... maybe. But only cause you are working on it.

making looting/raiding pointless until you hit GS 30+ because all your going to get is blunderbusses and paper..Nope!

Why do you have to make so many "rules" for this game..

Frankly I was quite happy with 18.2

That's why I >bought< it.

I am not into the every moment is a harsh screaming fight to survive thing that it's turning into..

That's what you should tie the difficulty slider to.

On "default" I should be able to survive forever if I play smart, and don't make too many mistakes.. (minecraft crowd rep!)

On each "harder" setting, add more of your broken vulture swarms, literal tanks of wildlife etc..

I really get depressed with each "update" so I can see how much farther away from the game that I bought has strayed from the reasons I bought it...

Sorry if I am not "eloquent" or maybe just a low i.q. jerk, but that's how I feel since you asked...

By 19.2 you’ll be accustomed to the changes and the game will seem as easy as ever. No harsh screaming. No fight to survive. Just easy street all the way.

When A20 hits with its changes you may be uncomfortable with some of them and proclaim A19.4 as almost perfect and wonder why the devs didn’t just polish that up and call it the game....

what was updated in the recent 100MB or so patch?
Da heck you talking about?

did you get it today?

Also!

@madmole

i was wondering How the "pipe rifle" would work!

Sense it a Tier 0 weapon my question is about ammo! not the bullets but the Mag/Clip! would it have more ammo then a hunting Rifle? or would it have more!

because that would seam odd that a Makeshift Rifle would have a higher ammo count then a Old Hunting rifle.

(don't ask why i think of these things please)

You know you can play even alpha 10?

Not many games out there let you play 6 years of versions.

Pick what you like, and mod bears to be weak as chickens.

I'm not seeing the issues the same as you, i dont mind the changes they have brought and i only started on a15, finding the loot is not that big of an issue, i just keep killing and clearing, raise my lucky looter and see what happens, i usually find a toilet pistol by day 3, usually when i take the time and break into a gun safe i get enough parts i could end up crafting a better gun than i find, all this negativity is not going to help matters at all and they are working towards their original vision which i cannot wait to see come to light, i also wanna be one of the first to play the next game they decide to start, this is a company that does listen, but each post you have made for the most part is so negative, why?

You may not know this, but you can actually go back to a previous version.  If you loved 18.2 you can go back and play it, you don't have to deal with the new changes at all.

Simply right click the game in your steam library, just like you are going to Opt into the Beta.  Make sure you have auto update turned off.  Then go to the Beta tab, and select 18.2 from the drop down.

yeah, no dude. I will leave that to all you squeaky wheels.

Whats so hard to understand about tying all the hardcore jazz to the slider?

Frankly I do not want stupid swarms of OP vultures,

Or bears that are as armored as a literal tank.

I like to build stuff, and have a adventure where I am in danger, but using my smart living human brains, I can beat the mobs of stupid undead zoms.

ffs dude. ya. I know you are trying to be helpful and all, but why would I do that when A whatever da heck it is going to be dropped and I need to update?

Just make the updated, default setting game, playable for noobs or people that aint into the hanging on by your da$# fingernails crowd..

You are breaking a cardinal rule

Thou shall never complain about the game, only compliment it. You are looking to be banned and attacked by the self appointed Dev Thought Police :)

@madmole one question though, i remember back when we had placeable tnt, it was fun to use when knocking stuff down, i know we wont get tnt back, but alongside the timed charge are we able to have demo charges that can blow holes through walls?  it can use the same model as the timed charge just orange instead of yellow, or black even, could make for some fun times, just curious

Just make the updated, default setting game, playable for noobs or people that aint into the hanging on by your da$# fingernails crowd..
Okay, calm down there bucko.

First, the game is quite playable at default settings for noobs and people that aren't into hanging onto stuff by their fingernails.  I am one of them, and if I can manage to survive the game anyone can.  You don't have to shoot the bears.  If you don't like the bears, do what any sane human would do when they see a bear and run.  The bears won't pursue you to the ends of the earth and they're roughly the size of a small mountain ... not that hard to avoid if you're paying attention.

Second, I agree about the vultures, but they're also relatively easy to avoid ... just stay out of their territory until you're at the stage where you can handle them.  At least now they actually attack relatively quickly instead of just hovering around for hours while the ground zombies eat your face because you were watching the vultures, as was the case in your beloved 18.2.

Third, if you were paying attention, you would see that the instructions I gave you told you how to revert back to a previous version of the game and not ever, in your lifetime, have to update to any of the new A versions ... or the B versions ... or possibly even the Gold version, if the pimps leave the option to play previous versions enabled when they go to Gold. As long as you've told the game that you only want to play 18.2, it will remain at version 18.2 and never update to a newer alpha.  If you want to make sure of that, then download version 18.2 and make a copy of your 7 days to die file folder ... and play from the copy.  Then no matter what the current steam version is you will always have 18.2 to play.

You can play 18.2 until hell freezes over and pigs fly.

So if you loved it so much, then go play that version and don't worry about any other changes.  No need to be so snarky to people who are trying to be nice to instead of treating you like a malcontent based on your nasty comments. Of course, that can always be an option if you prefer that to niceness.
