Had some of our community reading the Release notes yesterday and got a bunch of them asking "what, no smell"? lol.

I could take or leave smell. sure it would add another layer of needing to be careful. What I'd really like is to have a sword. I mean we got sledge hammers, machetes, spears, bows and guns galore, and scissor face punching fists, but no swords? come on man. :(
I honestly find that checking to see if you have the appropriate medical equipment and ammo is with you before you go out to be far more interesting than wondering if you should remove that 6-month-old moldy Sham Sandwich from your backpack or not.

I tend to rotate between 7dtd, MC, and hitman lately. no new good mmo's have come out lately. wow is too easy, gw2 lost most of it's writers and has gone down hill
Just 7D2D and Terraria for me, and occasionally a couple RTS games.

Hey, while we wait, check to see what Glock9 just uploaded on YouTube. :D

yeah, but need games to play with the wife. this being locked in a house together can become an issue if I dont spend time with her. so I got her hooked into 7dtd but still have to play mmo with her. but now that they are dead, she is pestering me with is it out yet?!? well at least it is the opposite problem snowdog has.

What are your thoughts on the junk sledge? Useful or not?
One of the youtubers just released a vid testing it, seems that having two up at once is really nice, but just one is pretty lackluster. You need to be pretty much maxed out on all the skills and have all the books read for it to be viable. We'll see though, needs to be tested obviously.

Good, then the wife will not be pestering you with: Can you do this? Can you do that? Very smart to get her into playing the game... She's one of us!

so you basically are saying the other half dont count.... hmmm you'd best start running for cover.. :)
Well the other half already have better life that they get game on time... for me it is Monday 8 PM and game is still 3 hr away to release, if it launch now, I can play it before I sleep.

Yeah but that's pretty standard adventure protocol.

Also, I've got mixed feeling about the candy. I wonder how often I'll remember or bother to use it? Painkillers are the only drugs I even currently use right now, and that's just for the "oh crap im gonna die" moments, for a quick little burst of health.

And all the huge selections of food is wasted on us most of the time because we always seem to make the same thing every time, why bother making other stuff when it's much lesser to other things that cost less to make? I'll cook up materials my crew makes to use up the items, and I'll have a storage box crammed full of a variety of food, but they always go for the same foods, bacon / eggs, Steak / Taters, Sham Chowder, Hobo Stew, they could care less about the rest of the food and cans. ill make red tea to help prolong their food / drinks bars, they never remember to drink it.

ill make mineral water but theyll just take the regular bottled water, because of the purifier attachment, they dont need to worry about drinking @%$*#! to make them sick.

I remember when i first started playing this game, exploring and finding all the awesome bases out there, and being invited to join in on bloodmoon, and seeing how each base was defended differently. (back then the zombies spawned pretty much wherever they wanted and came out you from all over). now, with the ai they work towards you on the path of least resistance mostly, so now exploring is less exciting as far as bases go. You will have a base/home and then there will be a seperate "horde base", people will build a nice practical home basic, or they will build something spectacular, but then they wont do the blood moon there because it will mess stuff up, so they build a horde base and do the horde night there instead. and all the horde bases are often designed in very similar ways. kinda bums me out that with the smarter ai comes less creativity for base defense.
