Um.......sweet? ;)
That is however going to land you in that same old "no new content released for 6 months thing" again though. We all know target dates slip, so April becomes October like a18. I'd hate to see you loose the momentum you gained with a18.

Any chance we could at least get some of the easier to add without breaking add ons like the vehicle mods or book sets earlier? (maybe release the vehicle mods one month and the book sets another month?

Or.. a MadMole's Book Set of the Month Club! A monthly book set for all 2020 for those eager beaver survival readers! Collect them all!

Oh, question: Has anyone checked to see if you have a tier 6 item if there are actually enough mods created for every weapon that can be added to fill all the slots? I think armor has enough, but unless I'm wrong most of the weapons don't have enough mods to fill all slots, as some mods preclude use of other mods. (Like you can't use barbed wire and spikes on a club or bat.)

The compound bow has only 3 I think, and the compound crossbow only one (or two if the ergonomic shaft one works with it.) The arrow rest doesn't work in the compound crossbow so it only has the string mod.
Over time will be adding more mods and making sure all have at least 4. The first two clubs are getting redone with all the club mods custom for them. The bat already supports everything afaik.

I read that you're going to be looking at the candy duration, but just wanted to add in another voice to things.

Personally, I can't see myself ever using it. They would be like potions in an MMO to me, stacks and stacks of them (if they were in loot), just so I could sell them.

The reason is, I never have the time really to plan the next couple of minutes of what's going to happen. Then, when something does happen, there isn't a pause button so I can attempt to remember what the right item in my backpack is that I'm looking for. Plus, taking up valuable storage slots for something I "might" use and "might use at the correct time".

Anyway, I'm all for options and those that like these will... like them. heh But really, it sounds like an inventory/time management nightmare for myself and I'll stay away.

So thanks for putting them in vending machines only and not "wasting" my chances at "good" loot. ;)

Here's a question for you, MM.

I saw what you did with Jen in the voice files. ;)

Will we be getting similar voice lines for the other traders? (don't wanna spoil anything for folks who DON'T go snooping)

i love it when see says." Sorry i don't know whats a Stimpak"

A specific experimental will always go stable unchanged. Always has been.
Or you think they will do a blind stable without being in experimental for some time?

I guess im really not getting what your prob is. Even players that have opted in to experimental will feel no change at all when it gets tagged stable. Same version, no update. Clients as wel as servers.

Cheers
Yes.

If we made changes to an experimental, then it should be a new experimental. A stable build is a build that has been tested by being an experimental. We could make changes, test it ourselves and release it as stable, but that is more risky.

I finished fixes for and testing of Unity 2019.2 (the latest .17 version) today and we will be using it for A19.

The main change players would notice is they fixed the texture compression artifacts, which could be seen in our clouds. Vulkan still crashes on Windows. It takes longer to crash, but it still does and FPS is lower anyway. I tested DX12, but it has lower FPS than DX11 and causes an error with post processing, so that is not ready for prime time.

We do get faster builds and incremental GC works in the Unity editor, so smoother testing for us. Yay!

You can not rationalize it just as easy as I can. It's a drug marketed like candy. How the hell does grandpas elixer do stuff? How does a med kit magically heal you from an inch of death? I'm here to make a fun game, if your immersion meter is broken, I'm sorry but we're not day z, this is a fun game that takes lightly the seriousness of the apocalypse and cool branding and game play beats realism. Its like recog for explosives.....
???

Not everyone thinks the absurd is fun.

what is this unhealthy craving for drugs?

Everything has or is getting redone to properly support pbr with the new linear lighting changes we're making.

@MM

One giant Question i have is about the new look for zombies.

Are all of them staying or are some going to get axed??

when you guys said that you want more generic zombies, so are some zombies like Solders , hazmat , Construction workers , bikers etc

are they just going to get updated or axed. (note: not mentioning Football and Cheerleader zombies due to what you said a while back)

They did. I much prefer her old male voice tbh. Lol

And what was wrong with the old Trader Jen? :p (New one looks good, btw. I'll miss the lab coat though.)
Hey, could you drop me a link to the new this please? Thanks.

Hmm how might I get access to the games' VO clips?

It's really all about planning. No different than having a bandage on your hotbar. I use the ♥♥♥♥ out of beer on a melee build. For horde night I try to have a grandpa's learn'n elixer to maximize xp gains. Fallout without chems would suck, this is just like that, or diablo, etc. Like anything you can use it or not, but there is no way I'll do dishong towers or the construction site without my Oh ♥♥♥♥z Drops

"Be prepared for those Oh ♥♥♥♥z moments! Fall damage immunity for 2 minutes."

The current voices will probably be one of the male traders, everyone else is getting redone with a different actor.

Its candy or something packaged in a candy box. Tallahassee in Zombieland needed his twinkies. Jeez go troll some other game you always ruin the god damn creative vibe here.
